Who Am I?
Hello everyone! My name is Laura Schmidt and I am your Mrs. Missouri International 2025. Here are a few fun facts about me:
1. I am married to my best friend, Nicholas.
2. We have one son, Bode who is eight years old and the light of my life!
3. We have two fur children, Lola and Gus, who love humans more than they love each other.
4. My husband and I are Majors in the United States Army. This is where our love story began.
5. My platform is Ronald McDonald House Charities. I have been volunteering with this wonderful organization for the past 25 years.
6. In my spare time I love to workout (boxing is my favorite!), coach high school volleyball, watch Dateline with my pups, and spend time on the lake with my family.
My Life
The day our forever began...
Besides the birth of my son, our wedding day was one of the happiest days of my life. Knowing I get to ride through life with this man makes me the happiest woman in the world.
Boy mom life
There are not enough words to explain the love that I have for my son, Bode. He truly lights up my life and those around him. He will always be my little man, no matter how old he gets.
A life of service
The Army has prepared me for so much in life, and for that I am forever thankful. I have traveled across the world, met thousands of people, and experienced opportunities of a lifetime.
