Ronald McDonald House Charities:
Keeping Families Close
Ronald McDonald House Charities has been a part of my life for over 25 years. When I was young, one of my best friends growing up lost her sister, Kelli, to cancer at the age of six. Kelli's family would stay at the Ronald McDonald House of Sioux City, IA, while she was receiving treatment. I never knew why they stayed there because our small town was only a 30 minute drive. However, years later, I understood why. It was to spend more time together as a family with their daughter knowing that they may not have her with them tomorrow.
Ever since that time, I have been volunteering at Ronald McDonald Houses globally while promoting their services to those who need it. I have volunteered across 27 states and three countries. I am a regular volunteer at three chapters across Missouri. I have written several grants for RMHC for supplies and services needed for chapters across the Midwest.
Through my PULL TOGETHER TOUR, I have the opportunity to go around to schools and community events to speak to adults and adolescents about why RMHC is important and how they can help their local chapter. I am so excited to use my reign as Mrs. Missouri International 2025 and beyond to promote such a great organization that keeps families close during times of medical crisis.

Did you Know...
RMHC has houses in over 64 countries and regions throughout the world?! It's easy to see why this organization has been so successful and trusted to help those in need.

Family First
RMHC provided a home away from home for families of critically ill children who are receiving medical care at nearby hospitals and dental facilities. Families of adolescents ages 0-21 can stay at the chapters for little to no cost.

More than a house!
Besides providing housing, RMHC also provides on-site dental or medical care through their Care Mobiles, scholarships to graduating high school seniors across the country, and participates with other non-profits to help those in need.
